An interesting point to ponder: If Jesus died on the cross and paid for
our sins, he did away with sacrifices of animals. Jews, used to sacrifice
animals prior to the time Christ appeare. The Jews, who reject Christ as
the savior (they expected the Messiah to come down and build an earthly
kingdom), currently don't perform animal sacrifices. These all seemed to
stop sometime shortly after the death of Christ years ago.
Rabbi will side-step this issue complaining that if Jews sacrificed animals
now days, then the Humane Society would come down so hard on them. However,
they stopped well before the Humane Society existed.
Incidently, it was also brought up that most Jews are Kosher only in the
home, yet when away will eat pork.
...And Jews who have businesses will leave to go to worship, leaving their
workers behind to tend to the store, and then return after services.
Naturally, this does not cover all Jews, but as the Rabbi explained, it
pertained to a majority.
Again, we're not bashing the Jews here either, rather relaying statements
made by one of their own. There are many Jews who have accepted Christ and
will be saved.
