Some records seem to indicate that Catherine was born in Pennsylvania, but the best evidence says she was born in Scotland and then immigrated to Leacock Township. Whatever the truth, her family apparently came from Edinburgh--but was originally French, and some of her family members still possessed French middle names even while living in Scotland.
Buried in St. John's Cemetery, West Beaver Twp, Snyder Co, Pennsylvania.
