jQuery – it’s a AJAX library that uses a very terse notation to do an awful lot in JavaScript. Here’s a good explanation for developers that are unfamiliar with the library — it explains a mental picture of what’s going on, enough that you can pick up the library and start using it for more than just trivial tasks. Tyson’s Brio? Nah. Let’s do something else.

The Brio in Tyson’s Corner gave us terrible service (admittedly, that’s unusual), but then indirectly found a clever way to charge us for the “free” dessert. iPhone will you have SSH?

Will the iPhone have SSH? Certainly it’s got everything that’s needed to do it — internet connection, virtual keyboard, a wide enough display.
