Walt's Photography
On the professional slant, I have a passion for taking a special kind portrait photography, which brings out a model's natural beauty. These range from dramatic, to glamor, to classical black 'n' whites and are ideal for individuals wanting to capture their youthful appearance before age sets in. No modeling experience is required, and we can walk you through the process.
While the pictures shown above were taken with a portable
studio, I also do on-location photography for events. These
are more casual, usually an outdoors, and capture the
flavor of the events and guests having fun.
At CES in Las Vegas, I took this photo for the Washington
Post's business section. They wanted to convey high crowd
attendance and lots of commotion.
Scheduling a Photo Session
Customers usually contact me via email from word of mouth references or have browsing various portfolios online.
Once arrangements are made, a session usually takes several hours of photographing, providing the client with a variety of options. Photos are then reviewed, favorites selected, and optionally retouched. Delivery and/or prints usually happens within two weeks, though rush processing is available.
I offer a number of packages, ranging from a single image to a fairly comprehensive package. It is possible to get very high resolution images delivered on digital format with reproduction rights. I also have programs for people on tight budgets, such as students.
