Photos of Sully District Station Lockdown
On May 8th, 2006 around 3:30pm a gunman opened fire on officers
at the Sully District Station on Stonecroft Boulevard in Chanttily, VA.
One officer died from injuries, three others were hospitalized, and the
gunman was taken out by police.
The event happened so fast that the area was immediately secured so tightly
that for the most part, the media was unable to get photos of the event.
However, below are the first images taken from within the lockdown.

Stonecroft Blvd. and Westfields Blvd. near the shopping mall. Drivers were asked to exit their vehicles at the point where it was unknown how many gunmen there were. Many people were forgotten about and left standing in the rain in all the chaos.
