Is hell burning right now? The answer: NO. And don't stop reading.
This statement about hell "not burning yet" may come to you as a shock, but
it wouldn't be included here unless there was clear proof from the Bible, and
yes, there is. The clearest proof comes from chapters 20 and 21 of Revelation.
John saw the NEW JERUSALEM, God's holy city, descend from heaven -- ( it
has a circumference of 1500 miles, and each of its 4 sides are 375 miles in
length. The city covers 140,625 square miles, and could hold 30 billion
people.) -- AFTER this city comes down, THEN the wicked are resurrected... and
THIS TAKES PLACE AT THE END OF THE MILLENNIUM. "The rest of the dad lived not
again until the thousand years were finised." [ REV 20:5 ] "And they went up
on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and
the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured
them..." [ REV 20:9 ]
"And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and
brimstone." [ REV 20:10 ]
THIS IS WHEN "HELL" BEGINS TO BURN. "HELL" IS CLEARLY NOT BURING RIGHT NOW.
Remember way back when we saw that "GOD" was a shortened version of the word
"GODHEAD" and people confused it as being a part of the trinity instead of the
trinity? "HELL" is a shortened version of the word "HELLFIRE" and people have
confused it as a place instead of as an event.
Hellfire will destroy the wicked at the END of the millennium.
It's so simple, so easy to understand -- yet many have decided to ignore the
Bible's clear teaching about the Lake of Fire, and instead believe the popular
fables... and it pleases the devil to have it this way. He knows that every
lie and every "confused doctrine" works to his benefit.
