As explained before, the wicked are punished at the END OF THE MILLENIUM --
and THIS PUNISHMENT TAKES PLACE RIGHT HERE ON THE SURFACE OF THE EARTH.
Revelation 20 and 21 clearly describes how God's huge city of New Jerusalem
descends down from heaven and comes to rest upon the Mount of Olives -- then
the wicked are resurrected, and the FIRE FALLS FROM HEAVEN UPON ALL OF THEM...
While at this time it may seem strage to bring everyone back to life and then
to kill them again, there's more going on that just that as we'll see in a
bit.
The wicked far outnumber the righteous. There are millions of fallen angels
and wicked antediluvians, and billions of human beings.
This group is so HUGE, that the fire from heaven is going to cover out entire
earth.
Why? Because the fire that destroys the wicked and turns them into ashes
serves a second purpose...
This fire is going to engulf and burn up all the works of man -- all traces
of the fallen period of man are to be removed, destroyed. Buildings, polution,
chemicals, unrecyclable plastic and stryofoam (had to throw those in for fun),
everything... The earth is going to be cleansed by fire.
Secondly, those wicked people are going to have the confusion lifted from
them. They are going to reflect back on their life, all their actions, and
see without Satan's interference how God was knocking at their door. The
wicked people, including Satan and his angels, are going to admit that
everything was fair, just, right, and that Jesus is Lord. The wicked will
understand and comprehend their own character was what pushed them away from
God, and that they had the option to choose to take the Son's free gift. Since
they fought so hard to be away from God, they will earn that decision. The
wicked will agree the punishment is right and just, and then it will begin.
Not an eternal-torment, by a removal from existance for ever and ever, and
the tool to do so will be the hellfire from the sky.
God already cleansed the world with water, and he promised he'd never flood
it again. However, fire is perfectly legal.
God said, "I will bring forth a fire... it shall devour thee, and I will
bring thee to ashes UPON THE EARTH in the sight of all them that shall behold
thee... and never shalt thou be any more." [ EZE 20:18-19 ]
This is why PETER described "hell-fire" by saying that "the elements shall
melt with fervent heat, the Earth also and the works that are therein shall be
burned up... Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens
and a NEW EARTH, wherein dwelleth righteousness." [ 2 PETER 3:10,13 ]
A new Heaven and a new Earth. How could there ever be a "new earth" if that
FIRE never went out? No, that fire DESTROYS all the wicked within God's
universe, the THE FIRE GOES OUT -- and the saints inherit God's New Earth, the
earth as it was before the fall of Adam and Eve. And this time everyone has
seen from ground zero what happens if we go against God's guildlines. Sin
results, and that sin when allowed to grow turns to self destruction. This
time there won't be a Lucifier to introduce sin into an innocent world,
everyone will have known by watching his example to trust God.
The earth has been the only inhabited planet that has fallen into "sin" and
has had the death sentence placed upon its inhabitants -- now, finally, with
the wicked gone, and eternal life bestowed upon the righteous, mankind will
gain that which all the other inhabited worlds possess: peaceful eternal life
with God, the God of infinite love.
